Hahnemuhle FineArt restructures its worldwide leading fine art media
Woodstock, IL April 29, 2008 At the beginning of 2008 Hahnemuhle announced that their inkjet media has been divided into two categories: Matte FineArt and Glossy FineArt. In addition, the canvas qualities will be categorized as Canvas FineArt.
New color boxes and assortment names help make the choice from the extensive Hahnemuhle product range even easier for consumers. The division Matte FineArt includes real artist papers with a premium matte inkjet coating. Their surfaces vary from smooth to textured. Easy to identify is the new silver box with a new layout. Glossy FineArt comprises of all products with a premium glossy inkjet coating. The gloss range extends from subtle gloss (satin) to mid luster (pearl) to high gloss (baryta). The new black box is the sign for the glossy product group. Hahnemuhle has also introduced an exclusive green box for its resource-saving Bamboo product, which contains a fine art paper made of 90% bamboo fibers.
Finally, Canvas FineArt comprises of Hahnemuhle canvas products made from cotton and poly-cotton that provide different textures and white tones. The canvas range includes two new products: Daguerre Canvas 400gsm and Monet Canvas 410gsm.
Hahnemuhle paper is specially coated for inkjet printers and ensures impressive, and above all, long lasting individually designed prints.
