MOAB BY LEGION INTRODUCES SOMERSET PHOTO LINE New Digital Paper to Complement Distinguished Somerset Enhanced
MOAB, UTAH (February 1, 2008) -- Legion Paper, the nation’s premier paper company dedicated to the art of the fine print, announced its Somerset brand will introduce their new range of digital inkjet papers – Somerset Photo. Brought to you in conjunction with St Cuthberts Mill, Somerset Photo will complement Somerset Enhanced and is ideal for instances when a deep velvety black is required.
Made out of 100% cotton fibres using a traditional mould machine, Somerset Photo is an authentic photographic and artist paper capable of producing outstanding results with a good inkjet printer. The large colour gamut and colour depth (dmax) means that any reproductions come out superbly. Somerset Photo is perfect for reproducing photographs and fine art, and for producing cards, menus and other applications.
Consistent with Legion Paper’s eco-friendly initiatives, St Cuthberts Mill only makes archival quality paper that is acid free and made from the purest ingredients. The bright white shade is achieved without unnecessary use of optimal brightening agents (OBA’s). It has a smoother fine art “satin” surface to enable all images whether they are black and white or colour to come to life when printed.

Somerset Photo is offered in PhotRolls 17”, 24”, 44” and 60” wide by 10 metres are available on a 3” core. The sheets (A4, A3+ and A2) are in 20’s in a protective two part box.
Moab by Legion Paper will exhibit Somerset Photo at the PMA Tradeshow in Las Vegas, January 31-February 2008 at Moab Booth L148.

About St. Cuthberts Mill Situated in the southwest of England, St Cuthberts Mill has been making paper since the 1700s, taking advantage of the pure water of the River Axe. The mill is on the edge of the ancient Cathedral City of Wells and is named after the local church dedicated to the 7th century saint. It is now over two hundred years since papermaking started on St Cuthberts site in Somerset and St Cuthberts is the only surviving commercial papermill out of the six once operating in the upper Axe valley.
